Reviews and Ratings
I had a delightful experience at this resort, especially enjoying the unique ambiance created by the surrounding farm animals and peaceful evenings. The value for money was excellent, making it a great choice for a fun getaway. While the pool being closed was disappointing and there were some issues with cleanliness at certain sites, the overall atmosphere and friendly staff made the stay enjoyable, and I would definitely consider returning.
We had a unique experience at the campground, being a working farm with animals all around. The atmosphere felt cozy, and there were fun activities for everyone, but the bug problem was quite overwhelming, and some facilities could use a little TLC. On the positive side, we loved the animal interactions and the effort the staff made to keep the place lively with special events. Overall, it was a good experience, but some improvements could enhance our stay.
Our time at the farm was absolutely delightful. The property is beautifully maintained, and the staff made our stay even better with their kind and helpful demeanor. However, it would be great if more activities were added, like weekly bingo, as missing it due to timing was a bummer. The farm animals were a joy, although the early-roaming roosters were a bit noisy. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and are eager to return!
Our family vacation was mostly enjoyable, especially with the beautiful surroundings and great amenities at the RV park. The staff provided excellent service, but the overflow parking situation was disappointing, with a fee that felt excessive given the available space. Overall, it was a fun and engaging place for the whole family, with lots to see and do.
My stay at Gettysburg Farms was a mixed bag. On one hand, the location is scenic, especially with the riverfront sites and the charming farm animals. The staff was quite helpful during my stay, but I did encounter a frustrating check-in process. While I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, I wish there were clearer guidelines for large RV accommodations, as it led to an unexpected night spent elsewhere.
